NB: 'Credited on the sleeve to just 'Yoko Ono', but on the record labels to ' Yoko Ono/Plastic Ono Band with Elephants Memory, Endless Strings and Choir Boys'. Produced by Yoko Ono and John Lennon. String orchestration - Ron Frangipane. Musicians : Stan Bronstein - Saxophone, Flute and Clarinet, Richard Frank Jnr. - Drums and percussion, Gary Van Scyoc - Bass and trumpet, Adam Ippolito - Piano, organ, harmonium and trumpet, Wayne Gabriel - Guitar, Joel Nohnn - Guitar ('Move On Fast' and 'Is Winter Here To Stay'), Yoko Ono - Piano (Looking Over From My Hotel Window), Daria Price - Castanets. The tracks were mostly recorded at the Record Plant, New York, in October and November 1972, just two were recorded at Butterfly Studios ('Catman' and 'Winter Song'). The guitarist mentioned above as Joel Nohnn is clearly John, and he was also reported as playing guitar on 'Winter Song' with Mick Jagger! The sleeve concept was by Yoko and John, designed by Bettina Rossner, with cover photographs by Bob Gruen. The inner sleeves contain the lyrics, and the record labels feature Yoko's face superimposed on a black and white Apple on the A-side of each album, with a black and white apple core on the other. Record 2 has 'PORKUM' etched in the run-out groove of side 1, and 'PECKUM' in the run-out groove of side 2, (There are no such additions to record 1).'
